The St. Landry Parish Solid Waste Disposal District contracts with Bayou State Waste for trash pick up in St. Landry Parish. There is no charge to St. Landry Parish residents for the collection service. The collection cost is paid for by funds generated from an 8/10 (eight-tenths) of one percent sales tax.

Collection crews start at 4:00 a.m. Monday thru Saturday, with collection once a week parish-wide.
Bulky Waste/White goods are picked up by Morgan & Morgan- Please call them for your scheduled pickup day at 337-331-5375. These items must be placed at the curbside. A special collection truck will collect these items.
Holiday schedule:
If your regular day falls on a holiday, your solid waste will be picked up on the next business day during that week.
