ATTENTION ST. LANDRY PARISH RESIDENTS
The St. Landry Parish Solid Waste Disposal District Household Hazardous Waste Day will be held on November 2, 2024 at the St. Landry Parish Recycling Centers.
Opelousas- 2717 W Landry St- 8:00 AM- 12:00 PM
Eunice- 450 N. C. C. Duson St.- 8:30 AM- 12:00 PM
This event is open to all residents of St. Landry Parish!!
Participants must show proof of residency with a driver's license, water bill, etc.
We will accept the following:
Paints, Automobile Batteries, Motor Oil, Antifreeze, Household Cleaners, Household Chemicals, Pestisides, Flammables, Corrosives, Tires (Limit 5 Per Vehicle), Fluorescent Tubes and Bulbs, other Hazardous Household Products, Electronic Waste (computers, monitors, printers, scanners, etc.), Cell Phones, and Cell Phone Batteries.
THIS COLLECTION IS FOR HOUSEHOLDS ONLY!! LARGE QUANTITIES FROM BUSINESSES, FARMS, OR COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
PROHIBITED: medications, infectious and medical wastes, biological and radioactive materials, compressed gas cylinders, ammunition, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and explosives.
